These full length headers for 289/302 Mustangs are the ultimate performance solution for your classic Mustang header needs. With big 1 3/4 mandrel-bent stainless steel primaries and a 3 JBA Firecone® merge collector, these headers deliver the performance you're looking for with a design that fits your Mustang better than any other long tube header on the market. Extra thick 3/8 CNC laser cut flanges ensure that you will never have exhaust leaks cause by warping. Each kit includes high quality gasket and hardware for a professional installation. These headers are available in a variety of finishes so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

JBA p/n 6610S headers are designed to fit 64-1/2 - 70 289/302 (not Boss) Mustangs equipped with C-6 or late model AOD automatic transmissions.
These headers provide significant increases in torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range and allow for maximum ground clearance.
To help make sure you choose the correct headers, h-pipe and exhaust for your Mustang please refer to the chart below. If you still have questions, give us a call.
Note: Parking brake pivot bracket may need to be relocated when install headers on 1965 cars.

JBA p/n 6610S headers are designed to fit 64-1/2 - 70 289/302 (not Boss) Mustangs equipped with 4 spd manual or C3/C4 automatic transmissions. These headers are not designed for 5spd applications.
These headers provide significant increases in torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range and allow for maximum ground clearance.

Note: These headers will work with a stock mechanical clutch using the factory Z-bar Ford p/n C577-7528-E used on 65-66 Mustangs (non-Hipo). If Z-bar is modified or worn use JBA p/n 1650Z. These headers have mandrel-bent collectors for trans. cross member clearance.
